For over twenty years I had been fascinated by how much color there is after dusk.
Since graduate school, I have worked with pastels on location and made mono prints using oil paints on litho aluminum. I created this collection of night paintings over many years at local sites near my studio. In 2007, I completed another series of nocturnes during my artist residency at Cat'Art Centre in Sainte Colombe Sur L’Hers, France.
